The highest of the archangels, standing at the threshold of the uncreated. Once the patriarch Enoch, translated into an angelic form capable of witnessing Kether directly. The divine scribe who records all.
Guardian of the hidden mysteries, the archangel who stands at the edge of Chokmah where the primordial flash of wisdom first appears. Said to have given Adam a book containing all cosmic secrets after the expulsion from Eden.
Archangel of Binah's deep understanding, the contemplative intelligence who holds the divine form in vision. Associated with Saturn's discipline and the great dark sea of understanding that receives all forms.
The archangel of Chesed who pours divine mercy into the world. Tzadkiel presides over forgiveness, compassion, and the generous expansion of grace. Called upon for healing, abundance, and liberation from karmic debt.
The archangel of Geburah's fierce strength — the divine force that purges, judges, and burns away what cannot stand in the presence of truth. Khamael embodies martial courage, righteous wrath, and the courage of consequence.
The great healer and guide of souls, archangel of Tiphareth's radiant center. Raphael holds together beauty, harmony, and healing — the intelligence of the Sun at the heart of the Tree. He guides Tobias and heals Tobit in the biblical account.
Archangel of Netzach's emotional fires, the intelligence of Venus who mediates love, beauty, and artistic inspiration. Haniel presides over the realm where the rational mind yields to the instinctual and the aesthetic — the great green fire of life-force.
The great captain of the heavenly hosts, the archangel who casts down the adversary. In the Kabbalistic scheme, Michael governs Hod's sphere of intellect, communication, and divine order — the logos principle where fire of the divine becomes word and structure.

The archangels are not separate from the Sephiroth — they are the face each sphere turns toward creation. Where the Sephirah is the pure divine quality, the archangel is that quality as it can be encountered, invoked, and known. Together they form a living ladder between the infinite and the particular.
